Types of Drought
There are four main types of drought: Meteorological, Agricultural, Hydrological and
Socioecomic.
Meteorological: These types of droughts are the most common. They happen when a piece of land has no water for a period of time. Meteorological droughts can begin and end immediately.
Agricultural: Agricultural droughts are the worst which mainly affect plants and crops by lasting for long periods to drain a plant of it’s water. Animals are also mainly affected by Agricultural by famishing them.
Hydrological: These are the wans which go for lakes and rivers, making them dry up. They dry up large arias of water, mainly aiming at humans, drying up there water supply. Hydrological droughts do not appear at the same time as others
Socioecomic: Socioecomic droughts are made when Meteorological and Hydrological change. This type of drought is made worse by growing pollution. It takes a long time for this drought to get going but takes a long time to recover from them.

Where are droughts?
So, as you can see, the continent of Africa is still entrenched in drought and Australia too. Meanwhile, Asia has improved slightly whereas the top part of Russia is freezing and India is the exact opposite for it is still scorching and lacking in water. Iceland is completely fine with droughts. North America has had a slight change and improvement. However, central and south America has had no improvement at all. The countries in Europe are completely recovered but droughts are still remaining in Spain subcontinent and Portugal. The islands of Indonesia have improved slightly.
